NH Events DJ Neil Hardingham has recently received a ‘Covid Community Hero’ award.
The Dereham Carnival Committee held an open vote, where members of the local Norfolk community put forward nominations to recognise people who have gone above and beyond during the coronavirus lockdown.
Alongside Dereham locals Callie Skelton and Karen Scott Bardell, Neil was voted to win one of three ‘Covid Community Hero’ awards. Neil was recognised for helping to lift people’s spirits during the global pandemic, with regular online disco shows, games nights and charity fundraising.
Neil has donated the £100 cash prize to our British Heart Foundation fundraiser, meaning the total now stands at £6110.00.
Neil and the NH Events team would like to say a big thank you to everyone in the Dereham community who voted, and everyone who has supported the shows and fundraising since March 2020.
