The British Heart Foundation turns 60 this year, so to help them mark the milestone, we launched the 60 years young challenge in April.
We have been truly overwhelmed with the response that we have had, with the fundraising total now well over £7500! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the challenge and/or donated, helping us get ever closer to our fundraising total of £10,000.00!
Here is a small selection of stories about some of the people who took part:
Disco Fever fans Louise Applegate and her adorable dog Sadie truly embraced the challenge, tackling a total of 60 dog tricks and commands during April. The talented duo filmed the tricks on Tik Tok with some great music accompaniments, releasing a new 2-trick video each day of the month. The entire NH Events team were stunned by the videos and the pure skill on show! We cannot thank Louise and Sadie enough for their incredible contribution to the BHF challenge. They put in so much hard work to deliver great entertainment, all whilst helping to raise money for a fantastic cause! Louise and Sadie raised a grand total of £375.00 for the British Heart Foundation.
NH Events DJ Neil Hardingham hosted his own 60-themed challenge, live-streaming 60 songs in 60 minutes…all in the mix! The live breakfast show was fast-paced and fun, raising over £300.00 for the British Heart Foundation by Disco Fever viewers.
Bethany Grace took the BHF’s #Suffolk60 challenge to her workplace, challenging her colleagues to walk, cycle or run 60 miles during April and raise £60.00 in sponsorship. Between herself and her colleagues, a total of £495.00 was raised for the British Heart Foundation. One individual ended up walking an amazing 193 miles in 30 days, raising £185.00 in sponsorship from friends and family. A big thank you to Bethany and all of the staff at Amarinth LTD for their support.
