It’s been another busy couple of weeks here at NH Events HQ, with family celebrations, weddings and pub parties! Our retro show is proving to be increasingly popular, hitting the road twice this week.
We first travelled to Lincolnshire for a family party at Surfleet Village Hall. We brought along our original era lightboxes and disco effects, making for a vibrant party atmosphere with a retro disco feel.
We then headed off to Aldiss Park in our local town of Dereham to celebrate June’s 80th birthday! It was a really lively party with the dancefloor packed from start to finish. We knew it was going to be a blast when we received the night’s suggested songs list. The birthday girl herself requested that the final song of the night be the ever popular rave hit Sandstorm by Darude – what a way to celebrate your 80th! We ended the night with three absolute classics with 500 Miles followed by Hey Baby and finally June’s favourite rave track Sandstorm. The birthday girl owned the dancefloor for the last song, with her friends and family dancing the night away around her. A fantastic end to a great night!
We would like to thank all of our hosts these past weeks for including NH Events in their celebrations and parties. We can’t wait to entertain you all again soon!
We have some busy weeks coming up, with more parties and wedding celebrations. We are also excited to be providing the sound, light and entertainment for England’s world cup fixtures at The Railway Tavern Dereham. Here’s hoping that there will be lots to celebrate!
